We’re leveling up our admin interface with a more modern look and going deeper in our content with greater insights.

Admin UI refresh:

We are excited to announce a major Referral Rock admin interface update. Modern navigation menu, new quick action button, and style improvements aimed at enhancing your experience and making it easier to navigate and manage your programs.

And this is just the beginning, we have many more admin updates coming out over the summer. See the product update section below for more details.

Nerding out on referral programs:

We’re diving deep into strategic referral topics and sharing the learnings and best practices we’ve accumulated over the last 7 years. First up: rewards.

New video on reward mistakes, different reward strategies (and how to implement them), frameworks for how to approach rewards (coming soon), and free reward planning tools (coming soon).

Referral Rewards Strategies (Dos and Don’ts) (webinar): Join us on June 5th at 11:00 am EST (next week) for a 30-minute lightening session on all things rewards: 5 most common mistakes and how to avoid, frameworks for reward design and building your own reward structures.

9 common reward structures and how to implement them (support center): New article on common reward structures detailing why they work, when to use them, and how to set them up in Referral Rock.

5 biggest reward mistakes (video): Learn the most common reward mistakes businesses make when running customer referral programs and how to avoid them.

Payouts explained (support center): Better explanation of how payouts work, different types available, funding options, and more advanced settings including payment history, scheduled payments, and annual payment limits.

Program editor explained (support center): Updated instructions for creating and editing your programs including images/gifs and additional settings.

✨ Product Updates

Modern Navigation Menu: We've shifted to a vertical menu on the left-hand side, replacing the previous horizontal layout. Our refreshed navigation and page layout aims to make it easier to navigate Referral Rock and get your work done. It will also allow us to better support mobile use cases in the future and create improved user interfaces.

Admin “Quick Action”: We've introduced a new actions button, providing easy access to frequently used features such as adding members, referrals, imports, and more.

Global Gift Card Reward Choice: Members and referrals can select from hundreds of gift cards and charities across different countries and currencies. Fund rewards in USD, CAD, GBP, or EUR, and then let the recipient convert it to their local currency with no fee.

Did you know?

You can move members between programs (individually or in bulk). We used to get a lot of help requests for this, so we built a migration tool directly into the software. But we’re still here if you need help.
