[Feature Update] š Invite Scheduler + Follow Up Reminders
One of our most requested features
Hey it's Mica,
If youāre a regular reader, youāve noticed we talk a lot about referral program promotion (it is the #1 reason referral programs fail, so yeah itās important). As you could imagine, we talk even more about it in team meetings.
At one of these meetings last month:
Michelle (services team): āUhh, we talk about promotion all the time with customers but the word Promotion is not in the product ANYWHEREā

To which the product team ran away and created a new āPromotionā area directly in the product which is home to the features we released this month:
Invite Scheduler - just add members and weāll handle the rest (email scheduler, template/branding, sending settings)
Automatic Reminders - follow up reminders after 7 days (based on program configuration)

Proactive Invite Recap (Continuous Promotion)
Before getting into the new features, letās revisit how Proactive Invites fits into the 3 P's of Continuous Promotion (a framework for how to think about all the continuous promotion opportunities businesses have)
Proactive Invites helps businesses get ongoing referrals after key customer events. Hereās how it works:
Step 1: Load Contacts
Add manually one at a time
Bulk import via CSV
Automatically via API/Zapier (more sources coming soon š)
Step 2: Send Invites
Schedule to send automatically (new feature see below)
Remind contacts who didnāt share after 7 days (new feature below)
Send one-off emails for more precise delivery
ā° Schedule when invite emails get sent
One of the biggest requests that stopped customers from using our invite email system was the lack of a scheduler.
While you can still manually send one-time emails, the scheduler allows you to invite new contacts to share your program on a rolling basis.
Configure the Invite Scheduler to meet your preferences:
Turn the scheduler on/off without losing your settings
Set days/times you want to send invite emails
Control which contact sources receive the invite email (leaving other sources for you to handle as one-off sends)

š Automate reminders if contacts donāt engage
Another request weāve often received is āhow can I resend to people that havenāt taken actionā. So we built a reminder feature right into the scheduler.
Not every contact is ready to share when they first learn about your program. They might miss your email, or they're simply not thinking about referrals when your invite arrives.
Automatic Reminders solve this by:
Sending 7 day reminder if a contact doesn't take action with first Invite Email
Preventing accidental spamming (invite emails are only sent to people that havenāt engaged with your program)
