[Feature Update] ๐ 12 templates to get your program discovered (+ QR Codes Creator)
QR Codes, Templates, Integrated Login Links
Hey it's Mica,
At least 8 customers asked me about QR Codes in the past two weeks. Our sales team hears it constantly. This one was hiding in plain sight: we already had QR Codes in the Member Portal and the Recruiter Portal, but not for inviting people to the actual referral program.
This month, we added a page for program operators inside the Referral Rock admin called Discovery Paths. It's where you'll find everything you need to put your program in front of customers in the spots they're already passing by.
Get your program link, a downloadable QR Code, and templates (with actual text copy you can put on your flyers, emails, website, and more).
From websites to checkout counters, business cards to email inboxes, your program should be easily accessible when people are ready to refer.
Let's dive in. ๐๐

๐ What are Discovery Paths?
Your program should live in multiple places so your customers can find it. Not buried in website footers or never promoted at all. You want your referral program to be where customers already interact with your business.
Discovery Paths are the common places people go to find and return to your referral program. They're grouped into three categories:
Where People Naturally Look: common places the program should appear include website nav, footer, account profiles, in-store signage
After Helping Customers: show your program when you deliver value, such as order receipts, shipping confirmations, service completions, checkout counters
Communication Touch Points: make your program visible when you have people's attention, including newsletter emails, business cards, email signatures, social media profiles
The point isn't to be everywhere. It's to be in the 4-5 places your customers will actually find your program when they're most likely to share.

๐ณ Take your program offline with QR Codes
A QR Code turns an offline moment into an online action. Without it, customers have to type in a long URL or hunt down a link later. With it, they scan and they're in your program.
All programs now have a downloadable QR Code. Add it to your In-Store Signage, Business Cards, Package Inserts, etc.
No more switching to a third-party generator or wondering if the code actually points to the right page. No fussing with long URLs for print or in-person material.

๐ก Get inspiration with templates
Writing the copy is often where things stall. People pick the locations but donโt follow through because they don't know what to say.
Each Discovery Path includes templates with images and suggested copy to get started.
The copy is written for the context. An in-store sign reads differently from an email signature, which reads differently from a website nav link. You don't have to start from scratch each time. The example copy can be used as-is or adjusted to fit your voice.

โก Automatically log people in (no signup required)
Integrated Login Links let you skip the registration process. If someoneโs already in your email platform or app, then you can automatically send them to their Member Portal.
Here's how it works:
Invite someone to your referral program using an email marketing platform (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, etc.)
Create an Integrated Login Link that uses the person's name and email address (you already have this information in the email platform)
When the recipient clicks on their Integrated Login Link (unique to them) they automatically join your program and are taken to their Member Portal to start sharing.
No form. No password. Less friction at the moment they're ready to share.
